Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Journey: Training in Brazil
Richard " Deggie " Degville is a First Degree Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black Belt and Head Coach at Oldskool. He is a black belt under 4x world champion Raphael Dos Santos. He started his journey back in 1998 at the first ever BJJ school in the UK.
He has travelled all over the world, including Brazil, learning and training with the best jiujitsu fighters and coaches he can find and has produced many champions.
Professor Lee Merrick
Lee is a Black Belt under Deggie and has been training since 2007 and has competed in Gi, Submission Grappling and MMA at high level with great success.
Professor Mike Barnett
Mike is a Black Belt under Deggie and has been training since 2010 and has competed in Gi, Submission Grappling and MMA at high level with great success.
Assistant Coach Aleksandra Degville
Alex is a Purple belt under Deggie and has been training 5 years. Alex has consistently Medalled at world level since white belt and is an active competator She has trained ALL over the world with some of THE LEGENDS of the sport
